Colossians 3:2 (NKJV) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Think about heavenly things. Think about godly things. Think about the things that are above. Think about these things. The things of Christ. Just as the Apostle Paul said “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things” (Philippians 4:8 NKJV). Life is full of problems. Little ones. Big ones. And everything in between. But by far the greatest issue before us, is what to do with Jesus Christ, God the Son. Do you reject what Jesus says about sin, and salvation? Or do you accept what Jesus has done for you on the Cross on Calvary? The sin issue, my friend, is the biggest issue facing us today. For it determines whether you will have life eternal or death. If you decided in your heart of hearts to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you will have eternal life. And your outlook on life should not be based on worldly things. All our decisions ought to include God. And our outlook on life ought to be based on God’s perspective. Not what the world thinks. For our acceptance is not from the world, rather it is from God. We ought to please God, foremost. For as Jesus has said, we are in the world but we are not of the world (John 17:14-19). So, we are to be living as citizens of heaven here on earth. For as Christ’s death on the Cross paid for our sins and separated us from the world, the resurrection of Christ brought us into God’s presence as His children and citizens of heaven.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
