2 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

Oh, how greatly we need comfort right now in our time of suffering. Thanks be to God for He is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Therefore, we should say: “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1 NKJV). For God promises, “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God” (Psalm 50:23 NKJV). Yes, God cares for us, and He will deliver us because He loves us. How great is His love? “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). God is the everlasting Father, and Jesus Christ is the eternal Son. God the Father occupies a position in the Triune Godhead, the Trinity, that is totally unique. And in the same manner, so does Jesus Christ, He is God the Son, the second person of the Triune Godhead. “In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:9-10 NKJV). God loves you, and He has saved you by His grace. Therefore, my friend, “Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22 NKJV), for you have been made righteous in the righteousness of Christ. “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV). We all are in need of comfort today, and we all should go to God for it. Because He loves you, and He is rich in grace and in mercy. So, be honest in your prayers, tell God how you feel. Because God’s comfort is genuine. God comes alongside you and walks with you through your trials and tribulations. God is always by your side. God will help you. He will strengthen your faith. He will be your advocate. God will help you in times of terrifying trouble. My friend, cry out to God, “Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper!” (Psalm 30:10 NKJV). My friend, God is the God of all comfort. Go to Him and He will comfort you.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
