1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (NKJV) 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The resurrection was not revealed in the Old Testament, but in the New Testament it has been revealed with the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus is the “first fruit” of the resurrection. Because Jesus paid the penalty for sins on the cross, and was buried, and was raised on the third day, and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, we have a hope for the resurrection to life. This is a fact, but God must reveal it to you. And God has revealed it to you in His Word. Christ came the first time to redeem a world of lost sinners. Christ is coming again, someday. Jesus will return as King. And He will judge all who rebel against Him. But before the Tribulation, Jesus will call up all who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. Many brothers and sisters in Christ have already died, and many more will die before Christ returns. But there will be some believers that will be alive when Christ returns. However, Jesus will call all believers, those who have died and those who are alive. Those who have died will be resurrected first, then those who are alive will follow. And all believers will be given a glorified body. This is a must. “We shall all be changed.” Before we enter into God’s presence, we must put on incorruptible. We must put on immortality. “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,” at the call of Jesus, we will be raised up, and we shall be changed. And we shall be with our Lord and Savior for all eternity.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
