Colossians 3:17 (NKJV) And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

In all that you do and say, do it as unto the Lord. This is the principle for Christian conduct. Living a Christian life is not guided by a long list of do’s and don’ts. Living a Christian life is simple, all you need to remember is “whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Whatever you do, be it at home, at work, at school, and in all your relationships, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. This is a simple principle that we can easily live by. Why is it easy? It is because we have the Holy Spirit within us, who makes the Word of God real to us. So that the Word of God dwells in our hearts richly in all wisdom. This is simply wonderful. But it does require that we study God’s Word, digest it, and keep it dear in the sanctuary of our hearts. If God’s Word dwells in our hearts, then the Holy Spirit of God can use it to transform our lives, so that all that we do, we do it as unto the Lord. My friends, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16 NKJV). If the word of Christ dwells in you richly, then it will be seen in your words and deeds, it will have an effect on your life.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
