2 Corinthians 1:12 (NKJV) For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

Paul’s manner of life in the world is something he can rejoice about, because his life gave a great testimony for Christ who lived in him. Paul makes it clear that his life testimony was not accomplished by “fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God.” My friends, it is not by our wisdom that our lives are a testimony for Christ. If people can see Christ in us, then it is not because we lived our lives, rather it is because Christ lived His life in us. We can live in “simplicity and godly sincerity” in suffering by God’s grace. When we abide in Christ and He abides in us, then the Holy Spirit of God can produce characteristics of Christ in our lives that we can share with those around us. When we are able to do this, even in our pain and suffering, then our hardships can become a greater message of God’s grace than the ones preachers give on any given Sunday.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
