Psalm 119:137, 142 (NKJV) 137 Righteous are You, O Lord, And upright are Your judgments. 142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth.
There are many situations in life for which we have little or no control over. There are many situations in life for which we do not understand why they are happening. Trials and tribulations are certainties of life. And we may not see the reasons for them. And we may feel that it is not fair. But we can find comfort in knowing that God is righteous. We can be confident of this truth, that God is righteous and He deals with us righteously. For God is good all of the time. And all of the time God is good. God’s righteousness is an everlasting virtue. And God’s law is truth because God is truth. Every word God speaks is true. And upright are His judgments. My friend, are you going through some hardships today? Take comfort in knowing “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV). “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28 NKJV). Therefore, be strong and encouraged, “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7 NKJV). Feel God’s presence, for “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit” (Psalm 34:18 NKJV). My friend, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV). “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV). Therefore, profit from your trials and tribulations, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (James 1:2-4 NKJV). “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV). These are God’s words, and they are true, because God is truth. God loves you and He cares for you. Therefore, you can turn your trials and tribulations into a reason to praise and worship God by thanking Him for His mercies and grace.
God Bless and have a good day in God’s Word.
