Psalm 150:1-6 (NKJV) Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! 2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! 3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp!4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! 5 Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
Let all things praise the Lord. The Lord our God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, the Triune Godhead is the object of our worship. “Praise ye the LORD.” God is the object of worship. God the Creator, and our Redeemer is the object of worship. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1 NKJV). “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1 NKJV). God created this earth and the universe. The lovely sunset and the warmth of the sunrise, God created. God is the Creator. God created all things. The very air that we breathe, God created. God spoke everything into existence out of nothing. Then He formed man and woman in His own image with His own hands. And He breathed the breath of life into them. God is worthy of our worship because He alone is the Creator. God is also worthy of our worship because He is the Redeemer. In Christ alone we are saved. Because of these two facts, God is the only Creator and God is the only Redeemer, He is worthy of worship from all His creatures. God is worthy of our adoration and praise. God created us for Himself. And He redeemed us for Himself. We are created solely for God. And we are redeemed solely for Him. God alone is to have our adoration, praise and worship. God alone created us. God alone redeemed us. God alone is to be worshiped. However, we worship many things in this world today. We worship many people in this world as well. And we bring this mind set into the church. For we have created many saints, both men and women, and we worship them. But God wants none worshiped but Himself. Because He alone is worthy of worship. God has created everything that it might praise Him. And surely all who are redeemed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ ought to worship God alone. “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment” (Mark 12:30 NKJV). God the Creator, God the Redeemer deserves our undivided worship. For God alone is worthy of our praise. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
