Psalm 65:9-13 (NKJV) 9 You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it. 10 You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth. 11 You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.12 They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, And the little hills rejoice on every side. 13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.

All of creation shouts for joy and sings of God’s goodness in the harvest year. This is also a beautiful picture of the Millennium Kingdom when the curse will be lifted from the land, and the desert will blossom like the rose. And the earth will at last be at peace as it was in the garden of Eden. God will water the earth with showers from His heavenly rivers. God will prepare the earth to receive the seeds that He plants. During the growing season, the fields are irrigated by rain from the clouds that sweep across the sky. The earth will bring forth a bounty of crops for the harvest. God crowns the growing season with His goodness. Wherever He walks, the stream of plenty flows. The pastures yield rich supplies of food for the innumerable flocks. The hills are covered with lush vegetation. Fields of grain bends in rhythmic cadence in the wind across the valley floors. All of nature will celebrate the arrival of the Messiah in the Millennium with shouts of joy and worship.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
