John 15:13 (NKJV) Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

Jesus tells His disciples, those who believe in Him, this includes us as well, that they are to love each other as He has loved them. And this is the test, are we willing to die for one another? So, it is sad to see in churches today, believers tearing down each other and gossip about one another. Jesus said “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15 NKJV). Unfortunately, many believers know this, but they reject this commandment to love as He has loved us. Jesus’s unconditional, undiscriminating, agape love was demonstrated for us on the cross. Jesus laid down His life for a world of lost sinners. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). Those who would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, Jesus calls them His friends. And this is the test, Jesus said, “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. This is how a believer’s life should look like. The life of a believer is following Jesus’s instructions. And you know where to find them, Jesus’s commandments are in the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, the BIBLE. And Jesus has said, my friends, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
