2 Corinthians 9:15 (NKJV) Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
No one can out give God. Regardless of how much you give, even if you give everything that you have away, you still cannot give like God gives. God has given us an indescribable, unspeakable, gift. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). No one can give like God who gave His own Son to die for us. Think about it, my friend. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9 NKJV). No one can out give God. The Lord Jesus Christ though He was rich made Himself poor. Jesus, God the Son, came down from heaven and clothed Himself in humanity, and took a place of poverty. Jesus Christ, God the Son, the second person of the Trinity, the Triune Godhead, left all the glory of heaven. He came down from the throne room of God to be born in a stable in Bethlehem. He lived in Nazareth, as the son of a carpenter. Jesus made Himself poor to die on the cross at Calvary. And He was put into a dark tomb. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came to this earth not to live but to give His life as a sacrifice for the payment of our sins. Jesus came to give His life in order for you and I to have eternal life. Jesus took our place on the cross for our sins so we may be reconciled with God. Jesus was rich but He became poor for our sake. Jesus did this “for the joy that was set before Him…” Jesus “endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2 NKJV). God the Father raised His Son from the grave on the third day. Jesus completed His purpose of His first coming, and He sat down at the right hand of the Father. My friend, Jesus is the wonderful, glorious Savior. He is God the Son who has redeemed us. Jesus is God’s indescribable, unspeakable, gift to you and to me. No one can out give God.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
