Psalm 91:1-2 (NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

There is safety in abiding in the presence of the LORD. Those who abide in the LORD can say with confidence, “The LORD is my refuge and my fortress.” We can trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for protection; He will keep us. For He always dwells in the secret place of the Most High, and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. If we are abiding in Christ, then we are there in the presence of God for that is where Jesus is all of the time. He is seated at the right hand of the Father. And there in the presence of God, we are safe and secured. The Lord Jesus Christ never acted in self-will. Jesus always did those things that the Father directed Him to do. Meaning to say, that the Son has a prefect relationship with the Father. Because Jesus is God the Son, the Second Person of the Trinity, the Triune Godhead. Therefore, Jesus is prefect because He is God the Son. When Jesus stepped down from heaven, He did not leave behind His deity. Jesus never stopped being God the Son. Jesus clothed Himself in humanity, and He lived a perfect life on earth in complete dependency on God the Father. Jesus was without sin, because He is God the Son. The attributes, or the perfections, of God are true for each member of the Trinity, the Triune Godhead. Because God is holy, righteous and true, He cannot sin. God is “holy, holy, holy.” God cannot do anything that is inconsistent with His very being, His attributes. Meaning to say that God cannot sin. God is holy, and He is perfect. And therefore, Jesus being God the Son was perfect; He was without sin. Jesus lived in absolute, unbroken fellowship with the Father who sent Him. That is why we can say of the LORD with complete confidence, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” No matter what we are going through or what we are facing in life, in hardships and in good times, in times of uncertainty and in times of fear, the safest place to be is in God’s will by faith. In prayer and supplication, we turn to God for protection. And in His holiness, absolute purity and separation from evil, in His righteousness, justice and truth, the LORD becomes our refuge and stronghold. And there in His presence, we are safe and secured.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
