Ephesians 1:13 (NKJV) In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

God planed the church. God redeemed lost sinners to be in the church through the substitutional sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins so that God the Father could have us for Himself. And the Holy Spirit seals us for God. God works for us through the Holy Spirit who works in us. The Holy Spirit causes sinners to hear and believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior. And when we respond to God’s call, we are made to be children of God. By simply believing in Jesus Christ, we are born again into the family of God. By hearing and acting upon what we hear about Jesus, we put our faith into action, and we are born again. We heard and we understood that we needed a Savior. And we responded to God’s Call. The Holy Spirit made God’s Word real to us, and we responded to God’s call. And by His Word, we were born again. My friend, Jesus Christ, God the Son, died for you and if you trust in Him, you will be saved. The moment that you trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are born again. My friend, when you put your trust in Christ, you will be able to hear the Word of truth. You will be able to hear and understand the message of salvation, the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ. My friend, when you hear the Word of God, and you believe in Christ, you are born again right at that moment when you respond to God’s call. You are baptized into the family of God right at the moment that you put your trust in Christ. And at that moment you are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. The Holy Spirit of God implants an image of God upon our hearts, because we belong to God. We are His. God paid for our salvation through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ. God reconciled us unto Himself through the redeeming power of our Lord Jesus Christ His Son. We are His, and we ought to live for Him. God saved us not so we can continue to live in sin. God brought us out of sin. Why then should we go back to being slaves to sin? God set us free. We are free indeed. We are children of God. We belong to God. Live your life in such a way that reflects who you are in Christ. You are a child of God. You belong to Him. If you are a true child of God, then you are going to depart from sin. If you still love sin and you still live in sin, then you were not born again and you are not sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. There must be evidence or fruits of your salvation. If you are truly a child of God, then you will live for Him. And God is going to deliver you. For we are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of Christ’s return. The day will come when the Holy Spirit will deliver us to Christ. That will be a wonderful day.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
