Psalm 91:1-2 (NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

There is safety in abiding in the presence of God. And the One who always dwells in the secret place of the Most High is the perfect, holy, and sinless Man. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is always abiding in the Father. Jesus is always doing the Fathers will. Our problem is that we are not always abiding in God. Oh, how we need to be more like Christ. Jesus lived in absolute, unbroken obedience to His Father. Jesus said, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me” (John 6:38 NKJV). Jesus only did those things that His Father directed. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect Son of God, the Second Person of the Triune Godhead, the Trinity. And He was also perfect Man, living his life on earth in complete dependence on His Father. In truth, Jesus could say, “My refuge and My fortress: My God, in Him I will trust.” Jesus always dwells in the secret place of the Most High. And we ought to learn to be more like Him.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
