Psalm 104:19-23 (NKJV) 19 He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down. 20 You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about. 21 The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. 22 When the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens. 23 Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening.

People of long-ago learned that they could regulate their planting season and harvest season by the sun and the moon. God designed the earth rotation around the sun and the moon rotation around the earth to move according to schedule. God set the moon in place to mark the months. God set the sun in place and made the earth to rotate as upon an axis and to also travel around the sun so that there will be day and night, and seasons here on earth. God created all things with a purpose. Don’t say to yourself that you have no purpose in life. You are God’s creation and He has a purpose for you. Why not ask Him about it. On the sixth day God created the land animals, then He created man. “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”” (Genesis 1:26-28 NKJV). The beasts of the forest prowl about at night for their food, then return back to the safety of their dens in the morning. But man goes off to do his work during the day for productive labor. And that is the futility of life, if all we do is work and work for worldly things. My friend, the primary purpose of our lives is to honor God with our lives. For if we live for this world as our primary purpose, then we will be disappointed. For the things of this world cannot give us lasting satisfaction and meaning. But when we seek to glorify God by obeying Him, we can experience true and lasting joy. And everything else that God desires for us will fall into place. There is nothing more wonderful than following God’s purpose for our lives. And my friend, the more you get to know God and the more you love Him, the better you will understand who He is and what your purpose in life is. God has a unique plan for you, and you can know what God’s plan is by drawing close to Him and simply asking Him. But whatever God’s plan is for your life, it will ultimately bring glory to God.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
