Job 26:5-7 (NKJV) 5 “The dead tremble, Those under the waters and those inhabiting them. 6 Sheol is naked before Him, And Destruction has no covering. 7 He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing

God reached out with His hand over the empty space and He covered it with the stars and universes. To hold the heavenly bodies apart, God put space between them. That is what keeps the universes from colliding with each other. When you look up at the stars at night, and we see the millions of twinkling lights up there in space, take a second to remember God created space. Space is one of God’s creations. And what is space actually? I don’t know what it is, but God created it. And it is holding the universes in their place for God’s purpose. Think about it, this earth and all the other planets are hanging in place upon what appears to be nothing. But it is something. It is space. And God created it. God suspends earth and all the plants in space without any strings, so to speak. “He hangs the earth on nothing.” What keeps the earth hanging there in space? For the answer we need to turn to Colossians 1:17 (NKJV), it says, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” The Greek word translated to consist is sunistemi which means “to hold together.” By the Lord Jesus Christ, all things are held together. My friends God is the Creator. Jesus created all things, “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:3 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
