Isaiah 45:18-19 (NKJV) 18 For thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the Lord, and there is no other. 19 I have not spoken in secret, In a dark place of the earth; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain’; I, the Lord, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

When God created the world, it was not without purpose or order. God formed the world to be inhabited by men. And God revealed Himself to men in a clear and understandable language. God did not create a chaotic world, nor did God communicate in secret. Rather God revealed Himself in truth and righteousness as the Creator and the One and only true and living God. The people of Israel were not to worship idols of foreign lands, nor were they to create their own idols. Today, we create many things that keeps us away from God. These in a way become our idols, you may say. Because we are more dedicated to it than to God. Do you have idols in your life? What are the things that keeps you from fully obeying, submitting, worshiping and praising God? Re-prioritize your life, make God most important in your life by abiding in His love.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
