John 15:9 (NKJV) “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

Love and Joy are perfected in a continuing communion with the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5 NKJV). This is the relationship of the branches and the vine. As the branches abide in the vine, they can bear fruit. And it is the only way they can. Likewise, we as believers can bear fruit only if we are abiding in Christ. We need to have a continuing communion with the Lord Jesus Christ in order to bear fruit. The sad thing is that there are many carnal Christians who think they can live a life of sin Monday through Saturday, then come into church on Sunday and serve the Lord. My friends, we must be in constant communion with Christ to bear fruit. That means seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. God wants us to abide in Him so that we can bring forth much fruit of the Spirit which “is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
