Genesis 1:24-25 (NKJV) 24 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Notice here again, God made each of them “according to its kind.” God separated plant life and animal life from mankind. All living creatures; the birds of the air, the fish in the sea, and the animals on the land were all created before man. “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth” (Genesis 1:26 NKJV). This is of great interest to you and me, because this man, named Adam, is our great-great, etc., etc., grandfather. This means that the entire human race is related to one another through Adam. And most importantly, man was created directly and personally by God. God the Creator was the One who gave the breath of life to man. And we are to give glory to God for He created us. And God has created us with a purpose. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8 NKJV). These are the things that God requires of us. It is our purpose. But here is the catch, we can’t do these things in our old nature because of sin. We have to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior in order to be forgiven of our sins and to be brought back into a right relationship with God.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
