1 Samuel 12:23-25 (NKJV) 23 Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. 24 Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. 25 But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.”

Prayer is a gift from God. And every believer has this gift. God has given us the privilege to pray for others. Everyone of us has a prayer responsibility. God lays it on our hearts to pray, He gives us a prayer responsibility. It may be to pray for a specific ministry, a specific minister. It may be to pray for friends and love ones. It may be to pray for your community, city, state, or country. It may be to pray for your church. It could be many other things. But whatever it is, prayer is a gift from God and God gives us a prayer responsibility. And we should be using our gift of prayer regularly to meet our prayer responsibility. We all have a prayer responsibility, my Christian friend. God forbid that we should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for one another. We need to serve God with all our hearts. We need to serve God with enthusiasm. We need to pray regularly.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
