Isaiah 1:18 (NKJV) “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

In Isaiah 53 we find the Lord Jesus Christ as the One who was wounded for our transgressions. Isaiah 53:5-8 says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.” Because Jesus paid the penalty for our sins, He is able to extend mercy to us. It was prophesied here in Isaiah 53, and it was fulfilled over two thousand years ago. And the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ keeps on cleansing repentant sinners of all sins, still today. God is speaking to the nation of Israel, but it has application for us as a nation, today. If we will turn to Jesus as a nation, He will have mercy on us and He will extend His grace to us, and He will heal this land. My friends, the political anarchy, that is going on today, is a spiritual apostasy. What this nation needs today is a spiritual revival. The corruption in this election is so obvious, we have hit the bottom of the pit, but God is saying to us, “Come, let us reason together, Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.” There is a way out for America. And the Way is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus is the answer, my friends. Jesus is salvation and the Way out of the troubles that plague this nation today.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
