Luke 17:30-37 (NKJV) 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” 37 And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?” So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”
Many Christians today have compromised their faith. Although, they trust Christ as their savior, they have a world view about the things of life. Many Christians are like Lot in many respects. That is to say many believers are carnal Christians. This is the reason why many unbelievers do not listen to the message of salvation. Because they think Christians are hypocrites. Yet, all true believers will be taken out of the world before the Tribulation. Life will be business as usual when Christ returns for all who belongs to Him by faith. But not all who claim to be a believer will be called up to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in mid-air. Because many Christians are like Lot’s wife who did not truly believe that God would destroy the city of Sodom. In the same way, many Christians are like her, they don’t truly believe that God will judge the world. And it is because they are carnal Christians. They will try to save their lives when Christ return. They will plead with God, saying “have we not done all these great things for you?” But their boasting will be for not. The time to get right with God is now, my friends. Those who do not believe God will be judged and taken away. All unbelievers on earth will make one last stand against God in the Battle of Armageddon, but they all will die. They will be judged and be thrown into the lake of fire. Then only the faithful remnant of Israel will remain on earth. And they along with all who are saved by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ will enter into the millennial kingdom of Christ. My friends, now is the time to get right with God.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
