Psalm 19:9-11 (NKJV) 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.

The commandments of the LORD are perfect. And it reveals to us our fallen state. The Law makes us realize that we need a Savior. And to the one who realizes his or her sinful state, “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever.” We do well to fear the LORD. For the fear of the LORD keeps us in line, it keeps us from falling into sin. Fear of the LORD will make us better Christians, and it will make our love for God even greater. It is easier to live a Christian life, when you know that the judgments of the LORD are true. My friends, do you want to know what is truth? The Lord Jesus Christ is the Truth, the Way and the Life. Jesus is Truth. And this is the truth of God’s Word; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). The judgements of the LORD are righteous. Whatever God does is right. And He had to deal with sin, because He is righteous. That is why God sent His Son Jesus Christ. God dealt with sin with the shed blood of His Son. Jesus was our substitute. Jesus paid it all. All to Him we owe. And the perfect Law of God makes us realize that we need a Savior. And God provided His Son Jesus Christ for us. Through the death and resurrection of His Son, God satisfied His righteousness. And God’s righteousness, the salvation of Christ, is more to be desired than all the riches and pleasures of this world. My friends, we can never hope to keep the Commandments, the Law. But all of the Law was fulfilled in Christ Jesus. God says we cannot make it to heaven on our own. The commandments of God prove to us that this is true. That is why God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for us. And all we have to do is turn from our sins, that is repent of them, and turn to Christ for salvation. My friends, we have to come to God on His terms. We have to come to God in the righteousness of Christ.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
