1 Peter 3:15 (NKJV) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

This means you can’t stay a new born Christian. You have to grow towards spiritual maturity. And the way you do that is by studying the Word of God. But the sad thing is that many believers don’t study the Bible. That is why sceptics and unbelievers can easily stump them with false claims against the Word of God. Christians ought to know the Word of God. We are to “sanctify the Lord God in your hearts.” We ought to have a sanctuary in our hearts where we can go and sanctify God. When we read God’s Word, study it, keep it dear in our hearts, and apply it to our lives, the people around us will know that we belong to God. This is the importance of sanctifying the Lord God in our hearts. When we go to church, we worship and praise God. We listen to the Word of God there in the sanctuary. But the world of sceptics and unbelievers are passing by the churches. Why? Because we as believers need to sanctify the Lord God in our hearts, not just once a week at church.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
