Proverbs 4:25-27 (NKJV) 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you. 26 Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.
People of all ages needs to be careful of the decisions they make. Bad decisions can hurt us for the rest of our lives. People, especially young people, are to be careful of not getting mixed-up in drugs, alcohol, and gangs. When we ponder the path of holiness, then all our ways will be well-ordered and safe. Along the path of life there are many side streets and dark alley ways which lead to sin. My friends, stay true to Jesus, though the many voices of temptations are calling you. When we are tempted, we need to ask ourselves, “Would we like to be found doing that when Jesus returns?” We need to remove our foot from evil. And use the Word of God to light up our path. Simply, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV). It is as Jesus said, “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light” (Matthew 6:22 NKJV). “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28 NKJV). My friends, when we commit ourselves to God, it is amazing how everything works out in the end. Because Jesus is in control of our whole life.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
