Luke 1:38 (NKJV) Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
Mary yielded herself to the LORD in full submission for the accomplishment of His wondrous plan of salvation. She said “Let it be to me according to Your Word.” At the moment the Lord Jesus Christ entered into the womb of Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit of God, a cloud came over Mary’s life. Even Joseph questioned Mary’s faithfulness. Joseph’s suspicions were quenched by an angel of the Lord. But for others their suspicions were not put to rest until the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot deny Jesus’ virgin birth because His resurrection proved that He is the Messiah, God the Son. The virgin birth of Jesus and His resurrection stands together. To deny any one of the two, is the same as denying both, and it is a false doctrine. The angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:20-21 NKJV).
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
