Romans 14:10-12 (NKJV) 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” 12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

Why do we judge one another? Remember what Jesus said to that self-righteous Pharisees who wanted to stone an adulterous woman in accordance with the Law. Jesus said to them, “… He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first” (John 8:7 NKJV). What happened next? Well, not one in the crowd threw a stone. They dropped it and left, from the oldest to the youngest. My friends, we need to recognize that we have sin in our lives, and we will have to give an account of ourselves to Jesus before the Bema Seat of Christ. So, we can’t sit in judgment of one another, because we need to deal with the sin in our own lives. As we are told in Luke 6:41 (NKJV), “And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye?” To be right in God’s sight we cannot compliment our ego, pat the pride of our backs, and smile upon sin. We can not take our own sin lightly. We need to go to the foot of the Cross and repent of our sins. And we need to be washed with the cleansing power of the Word of God. At the Cross we are made a new creature in Christ Jesus. And by God’s Word we are made new every morning.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
