Luke 24:35 (NKJV) And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.

Our Lord and Savior is alive. Jesus has risen from the grave. And the resurrected, glorified Christ wants to fellowship with those who are His by faith. Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ will only fellowship with those who believe in Him. Why is it then, that we can’t see Jesus working in our lives? Why is it that we only feel Jesus’ presence when things are going well? Perhaps it is because we see things only as we like to see them. Perhaps we can’t see beyond our circumstances. Or perhaps we can only see the physical. Does Jesus only reveal Himself to us only during the good times? Or is it because Jesus wants to keep Himself hidden until the right time to reveal Himself? Often, we look back over our past and see how Jesus has helped us. Is it true then that Jesus only reveals Himself to us after He has helped us? Or is it that we can’t see Jesus helping us because we are to busy focusing on our circumstances. Jesus wants to fellowship with those who are His by faith. Jesus wants us to know that He is there with us at all times; the good times and our times of trouble. Jesus wants us to see Him. For Jesus has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5 NKJV). Would we not face our problems in life with confidence knowing that Jesus is by our side? My friends, if we could take our eyes off our circumstances, then we would see Jesus there by our side. He will open our eyes.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
