Ephesians 4:4-6 (NKJV) 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

All true believers, from Pentecost to the Rapture, are in one body, the body of Christ, by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That is the work of the Holy Spirit, to unify believers in Christ. And all true believers are “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13 NKJV). For Christ’s lordship over all true believers brings unity in the church. So that in “One faith” we continue “steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42 NKJV). For correct doctrine forms an adhesion of believers. All true believers are brought into the family of God in “one baptism” of the Holy Spirit. We have “one God and Father” of us all. Because there is only one Father, He is not the Father of unbelievers. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12 NKJV). One can only become a child of God through Christ. God is the Father of all who are born again. We are seated in the heavenlies in Christ, and we still walk down here in Christ. This is what the Apostle Paul is telling us; we must not be so heavenly-minded that we are no earthly good. Remember, my friends, we all have a part in getting the Word out, the message of Salvation, the gospel of Christ. And that is what makes life worth living; to serve God “who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
