Ephesians 2:18 (NKJV) For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

This is an important truth. It is very significant. In this verse we have the Trinity. People say the word Trinity does not appear in the Bible, so they discount it. They do this because they do not believe in a Triune Godhead. They don’t believe in Elohim. They don’t believe in God. This tiny little verse refers to Jesus Christ, God the Son. It refers to the Holy Spirit, God the Holy Spirit. And it refers to the Father, God the Father. It refers to Elohim. “For through Him [Jesus Christ, God the Son] we both have access by one Spirit [the Holy Spirit, God the Holy Spirit], to the Father [God the Father].” Here we have the Triune Godhead, the Trinity. “We both,” meaning Jews and Gentiles are both sinners in need of a Savior. The Father provided a Savior for both the Jews and the Gentiles. And His name is Jesus Christ. By faith in Jesus, we are baptized by the Holy Spirit into the family of God. By faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we are given access to our Father in heaven. God created man, but not all man are God’s children. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12 NKJV). Only those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior are God’s children. And they have eternal life because they believe in Jesus Christ, God the Son. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). There on the Cross, God demonstrated His love for a world of lost sinners. God gave His only begotten Son as a substitutional sacrifice for the payment of sin. This is the grace of God that He offers to sinners. But we must respond to God’s grace. We must believe in Jesus Christ, God the Son. That is the response that God is looking for. Jesus said, my friend, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV). Through faith in Jesus Christ, God the Son, we have access by one Spirit, God the Holy Spirit, to the Father, God the Father.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
