Proverbs 4:23-27 (NKJV) 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. 24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you. 26 Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.

Our heart is the most important thing to watch over. “For out of it spring the issues of life.” The heart is important for life. And it symbolizes the center of our innermost being. What comes out of a man is from the heart. “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies” (Matthew 15:19 NKJV). For this reason, we are to keep our hearts with all diligence. Because what is in our hearts will come out through our mouths. Sooner or later our mouths will give away what is in our hearts. Oh, how careful we need to be in the choices we make in life. My friend, “Ponder the path of your feet.” Don’t destroy yourself with bad decisions. Always think of the consequences. Be sure to walk with God, rather than the ungodly.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
