1 Corinthians 13:4 (NKJV) Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

Love is patient and kind. To love without kindness is impossible. Apostle Paul said, “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32 NKJV). This is what love is all about: love is patient and kind. Now this is what love is not: love does not envy; and love is not proud or arrogant. To put it positively, love is content with its lot. For the very first murder recorded in the Bible, was caused by envy. Even in ministry we should not envy other ministries. We should consider that whatever ministry we are given, it is a gift from God. There is nothing to boast about, no matter how spectacular the ministry might be. For ministry is all about Christ. It is never about us. Therefore, love is not boastful or given to pretentious or conspicuous show in attempt to impress others. For there is a vulgarity about showing off. Therefore, love does not make itself to be something that it is not. Love is up front and honest. “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up.”

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
