Psalm 46:10-11 (NKJV) 10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
All nations, and pretty much all nations are heathen nations today. Yes, even this great nation which was founded on Christian principles. Yes, it is sad to say, but even America is moving away from God. Nevertheless, when the Lord Jesus Christ establishes His Millennial Kingdom hear on earth, all nations will bow down to Him. A few will exalt Christ as Lord and Savior. But many more will bow down in fear of their final judgment to be handed down to them. With the knowledge of this blessed promised we can be still in times of trouble. Yes, even in these uncertain times. There are storms of trouble blowing outside today. We are living in a mean and sinful world, an evil world. We are living in the end times. Tremendous changes are taking place in this nation and around the world. Even nature is having convulsions today. But God tells us to be still and know that He is God. For remember when Jesus was in a storm with His disciples, and He was asleep. When the disciples woke Him up from His sleep, Jesus had more trouble calming His disciples down than He had calming the storm. Many of us are like those disciples. We don’t know how to fully trust God and wait patiently before Him in the midst of the storm. This is a psalm that will be a great blessing for the children of Israel during the Tribulation. But it is also a comfort and a blessing for all of God’s children today.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
