1 Corinthians 13:8 (NKJV) Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

One thing remains; “Your love never fails, It never gives up, It never runs out on me.” This is why at the end of chapter 13, Paul writes “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV). Love is permanent. Elizabeth Barrett Browning is credited for writing, “Love looks beyond the bounds of time and space, Love takes eternity in its embrace.” This is what God’s love is like. From eternity, God’s love looked far beyond the start of Creation into time and space. And He saw that man needed a Savior. For without a Savior man would never embrace eternity with Him. So, before Creation, God created His plan of Salvation. And at the appointed time “God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus. He came to love, heal and forgive. He lived and died, to buy my pardon. An empty grave, is there to prove, my Savior lives.” We are saved by God’s grace which stems from His love. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 NKJV). God’s love is so great that He saved us by His grace. It is great to know that God loves us. And God never ceased loving us. We can’t do anything to keep God from loving us. No matter what we have done, God still loves us. We may run away from God, but we can’t stop God from loving us. No matter how great a wall we put up between us and God. It cannot stop God’s love from making its way into our hearts. My friend, you cannot keep God from loving you.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
