Romans 10:13 (NKJV) For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
This is a remarkable truth. If you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, then you are part of the Elect, meaning you shall be saved. For we are saved by grace through faith in Christ. Both Jews and Gentiles who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16 NKJV). Therefore, “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” This emphasizes the point that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ. But, this verse which Paul quotes from Joel 2:32 will be especially meaningful for the faithful remnant of Israel during the Great Tribulation. Many of them will turn to Christ during that time. And many of them will turn to Christ after that time. And still, many of them will turn to Christ when He establishes His Kingdom here on earth. When the faithful remnant of Israel turns to Christ, it is going to be the greatest time of people turning to Christ for salvation, much greater than there has been and will be during the church age. The importance here is the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you have Christ? Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? My friend, don’t miss coming to know Christ. And for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. What place does Christ occupy in your life? So, to you as well, don’t miss coming to know Christ more.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
