Job 39:26-30 (NKJV) 26 “Does the hawk fly by your wisdom, And spread its wings toward the south? 27 Does the eagle mount up at your command, And make its nest on high? 28 On the rock it dwells and resides, On the crag of the rock and the stronghold. 29 From there it spies out the prey; Its eyes observe from afar. 30 Its young ones suck up blood; And where the slain are, there it is.”
These are the questions posed to Job. Did he give wisdom to the hawk to migrate south when the appropriate time came? And did Job teach the eagle to fly? Did he show the eagle where to build its nest? Did he teach the eagle how to spy out its prey from a great distance? And did Job train the young eagles to find their food? God is rebuking Job. “Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said: “Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him? He who rebukes God, let him answer it.”” (Job 40:1-2 NKJV). Now is Job in a position to give God a lesson? Not even close. Actually, Job has been speaking without wisdom. How foolish for Job to attempt to instruct God. Job is in no position to do that because he has been uttering words without wisdom. Don’t we do the same? When things go wrong, when we don’t get our way, don’t we find fault with God? My friends it is wrong to do so. It is okay to ask God “Why?” But don’t say “What is wrong with you God? Don’t You care?” That my friend is showing a lack of respect. God deserves your deep respect; for He is your Creator, Redeemer and Savior. God gave His Son for you. When things go wrong have reverence for God, and He will deliver you.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
