John 12:44-46 (NKJV) 44 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12 NKJV). Here, Jesus repeats His amazing statement, He says, “I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.” Light reveals things that hide in the darkness so that you can see those things. Jesus will open your eyes and reveal your sins, if you are willing to admit that you need a Savior. You see, my friend, God is willing to forgive you of your sins whenever you are willing to give up your sins. Jesus stepped down from heaven to earth not only to fulfill the Father’s plan of salvation but also to reveal God to man. When Jesus says He is Bread, Water, Light and Life. We understand that salvation is through Jesus, and that He also meets our every day needs. We are to follow Jesus, just as the Jews followed the pillar of fire through the wilderness. My friends, Jesus is the Light of the world come and follow Him.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
