Song of Solomon 2:10-13 (NKJV) 10 My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. 11 For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away!

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ loves the church and He shed His blood on the Cross for it. Jesus redeemed us at His first coming. And when He returns, He is going to take His church out of this world. Jesus will present to Himself a church that is purified. Jesus cleanses us with the washing of the Word of God. Jesus wants His church to be blemish free, a church without a spot or wrinkle. When Jesus gathers up His church, the storms of life will end for those who are His by faith. But for now, trials and tribulations are the marks that we bear in our lives that show we belong to Him. It shows that we are a child of God. But when Jesus returns, all the trouble will be over. All the pain, all the suffering, all the sorrow, all of it will vanish away when we are in the presence of Jesus. He will take us home to heaven, to the place where He has prepared for us. And there will be a beautiful garden there. There will be a great deal of singing when we enter into the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will sing a new song to the Lord Jesus, for He has done wonderous things. A joyful gratitude of songs from the heart is all that we can do for His great salvation. My friends, we are living in a time of pruning, in which aspects of our lives are pruned so that we can bear more fruit. But the time of singing is ahead of us. We will sing with great joy when we are in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. It will be a time of wonderful peace. It will be a time when our salvation will be complete, because we will be in His presence. We are saved by what Christ has done for us on the Cross, and we will go to be with Him not because of what we do, but because He has reconciled us to God, He has made peace between us and God, by the blood of His Cross. When we hear Christ Jesus say, “Rise up my Love, and come away.” Our hearts would fain outfly the wind, and leave all earthly joys behind. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is coming again, and He will receive His church unto Himself, that where He is, there we may be also. My friends, are you ready to hear the upward call of God through His Son Jesus Christ? Jesus will say “Rise up, My love, My fair one, And come away.” My friends, you will hear His call, if you belong to Him by faith.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
