Psalm 104:19-23 (NKJV) 19 He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down. 20 You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about. 21 The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. 22 When the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens. 23 Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening.

Back in the beginning in the early days of man, people learned that the sun and the moon regulated the planting season and the harvest season. God appointed the moon for seasons. Both the sun and the moon raise and set according to schedule. God provided a way to measure time. The days and the months can be measured by the moon and the sun. There is order in God’s Creation. At night the beasts hunt for food. While people sleep in the safety of their camps. When morning comes, the beasts return to the safety of their dens. While people awake and utilizes the daylight hours for productive work. My friends, God is a God of order.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
