Romans 10:13-15 (NKJV) 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

The Apostle Paul draws from the Old Testament Scriptures, Joel 2:32, which says “And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.” Paul does this to affirm what he is saying that salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. And he makes it very clear that both Jew and Gentile are to call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. We are to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Because the Mosaic Law cannot save you. Only the shed blood of Jesus Christ can. This is the message of salvation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And there must be messengers of the gospel whose credentials are from God. It is funny, how some brothers and sisters can say of a pastor or minister, “I don’t know how he got ordained.” But what they are really saying is “I can teach better them him. I know more than him.” Why is that there are always these types of people in churches today? These are the type of people who tear down ministries. They go around looking for the perfect church, then when they think they found it then they tear it down. If they know more about the bible than the pastor or minister, then why do they ask who gives him the authority? They should listen to Paul, for he says that the credentials of those who preach the gospel of Christ are from God. Yes, God sends out preachers, ministers, teachers, all messengers of the Gospel of Christ in order for people to hear the message of salvation and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. For without hearing the Word of God, they would not know how to call upon the Lord. This is the Good News; it is the glad tidings of good things. But the Mosaic Law was a ministration of death. In contrast, the message of salvation gives life. And the feet of those who bear glad tidings are beautiful. It is a joyful assignment from God to get His Word out to needy people. It brings joy to your heart. Perhaps this is why God calls His called-ones and His sent-messengers beautiful. And it is wonderful to have the opportunity to share the message of salvation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ over the internet. Live streaming allows us to scale mountains, go over plains, reach over the seas, and go into the inner recesses of the earth with the Gospel of Christ. It is a great joy to get out the Word of God. And it is wonderful to have feet that God calls beautiful.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
