Psalm 117:1-2 (NKJV) Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! 2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!
We sing a hallelujah; The Lamb has overcome. Forever He is glorified forever. Praise the Lord, all ye nations. “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11 NKJV). Every nation will join together in praising the Lord Jesus Christ. This is obviously prophetic, because there are no nations today that fit this description. Why? Because there is still sin in this world. And there are more people who love their sins than there are people who turned to Christ for salvation. But of course, they do not call it sin. They can call it whatever they want, but God calls it sin. And that is what repentance is all about. It is agreeing with God that sin is sin. The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again, and He will put to death all who rebel against Him. Then He will establish His Kingdom here on earth, then all will bow down before Him and worship Him as Lord. When will all this happen? It will be after the Great Tribulation period, the last three and a half years of the Tribulation. At this time, God is going to be gracious to Israel. He will get rid of His enemies and redeem the faithful remnant of Israel. At that time Micah tells us, referring to God, “You will give truth to Jacob And mercy to Abraham, Which You have sworn to our fathers From days of old” (Micah 7:20 NKJV). This day will come when Christ returns. And for now, we are living a period of God’s grace, where He is gathering for Himself a people for His name, (see Acts 15:14). My friends, God is taking out a people from among the nations and He is bringing them together into one body in Christ Jesus His Son. God is making up His church from all races and nations. And when Christ returns, He will take the church out of the world, for we are not meant for God’s wrath. “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him” (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 NKJV). This psalm will be fulfilled during the Millennium when Christ reigns on this earth. And we sing a hallelujah, The Lamb has overcome. Forever, He is glorified. Forever, He is lifted high.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
