2 Timothy 2:3-4 (NKJV) 3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

We are fighting a spiritual battle. Therefore, we need to put on not a physical armor, rather we need to put on the whole armor of God. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:12-13 NKJV). We are fighting a spiritual battle, and it requires our full attention. However, a great many Christians are fighting like it does not matter. They are preoccupied with the affairs of this life. I think that is why there are so many carnal Christians. And that is why they are not able to live the Christian life. It is because they are so entangled in worldliness. My friends, we are to recognize that we are soldiers in God’s Army. And we are to recognize that the Christian life is a spiritual battlefield. There is a real spiritual battle going on. Each and every day, Satan wants to swift your life. Therefore, “Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people” (Ephesians 6:14-18 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
