Psalm 24:1-2 (NKJV) The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. 2 For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters.

David speaks of the LORD as the Creator. God created the heavens and the earth. God is the Creator and the earth belongs to Him. There are so many people today who wants to rule over this earth, but the earth belongs to the LORD. “For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters.” On the third day of Creation, God said ““Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good” (Genesis 1:9-12 NKJV). My friends, in Genesis and in this Psalm, we have a picture of the resurrection. When God gathered the waters together, dry land appeared from under the waters. And God gave it life. It was life out of death, and it speaks of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. My friends, God saved us. We were dead in our sins, but God gave us life for believing in His Son Jesus Christ. Just as God promised in John 3:16. And we can come boldly before God because we are in Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ has committed Himself to present us before the throne of grace as our Great High Priest because we have trusted Him as our Savior.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
