Psalm 104:1-3 (NKJV) Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, 2 Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. 3 He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind,

Praise to the God of creation. This psalm is a hymn to God the Creator. On the first day of creation God said, “Let there be light” and there was light (Genesis 1:3 NKJV). This psalm refers to the second day of creation with these words, “Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.” In Genesis 1:6 (NKJV) God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” And in verse 8, “And God called the firmament Heaven.” God stretched out the heavens, and He put a layer of water above it and a layer of water below it. And He makes the clouds His chariot. It is interesting that the waters above did not come down, as it does now, and sometimes pretty fast and hard. The waters above did not come down until the flood.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
