Psalm 57:5 (NKJV) Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
David longs to see God’s glory exalted above the heavens high above the earth. David repeats it again at the end of this psalm. Nothing will do but that God’s glory be magnified. My friends, these days many people will look at creation and worship it instead of the Creator. But when they look at what man has done, they will worship him. Why the difference? It is because of their carnal minds and worldly points of views. They see the physical but cannot see the spiritual. They have substituted the glory of God with the glory of man. They trust in their own strengths, their own abilities, their own skills, their own beauty, and their own intellect. They believe they are inherently good. And so, they live as if God does not exist. This is the error that many have made. But my friends, the glory of man is only temporary, it fades away over time, and man himself eventually dies. But the glory of God is constant and God is everlasting with no beginning and no end. My friends, glory comes from all mighty God. And God said, “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory, I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” And as such we who believe in Christ can emulate God’s glory through the fruit of the Spirit that He creates in us. Through us God can magnify His glory.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
