John 1:40-42 (NKJV) 40 One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. 41 He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone).
Did we not do the same, when we found Jesus? That is, when we accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, did we not tell others? Salvation is too good to keep to ourselves. We need to tell others about Christ. We don’t have to be elegant in our speech, we simply need to tell people the Good News in plain and simple words. Yes, that is all we need to do. We simply need to bring people to Christ by sharing the message of salvation. And God will take care of the rest. See that Christ knows all about us even before we come to Him. He knows our name. He knows our character, faults and sins. But He changes all of that because when we repent of our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are born again by the filling of the Holy Spirit, and we are made a new creation in Christ. You see, my friends, Christ changes lives. And He does this because He is God, God the Son, the Second Person of the Triune Godhead, Elohim.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
