James 1:19 (NKJV) So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

We as believers who were brought to Christ by the Word of God ought to be swift to hear the Word of God. For it is by the Word of God that we grow towards spiritual maturity. The Holy Spirit of God uses the Word of God to transform us. God wants to talk to you. And He speaks to you directly through His Word. Be then swift to hear what God has to say to you. Therefore, be slow to speak. That is before you start witnessing to others do a little bit of growing spiritually by studying the Word of God. You don’t want to be caught flat footed or say something that is contrary to the Word of God. You need to study and know the Word of God before you start witnessing. And another important thing is to make sure that your life matches your testimony. We need to be careful of what we say. And we need to be sure that what we say is backed up by our lives. One important thing to remember when witnessing is to don’t argue about religion. Be slow to wrath. Because we don’t know all there is to know about the truth of God’s Word. Therefore, don’t start arguing about theology, and let your anger destroy your testimony. “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
