John 7:37 (NKJV) On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

Here we have the concept of free will and election, my friends. Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts.” The idea of free will is taken from this question because Jesus asked “If anyone thirsts.” Anyone includes you and me. And the question is my friend, “Are you thirsty?” The idea of election is taken from the very same question that Jesus asked. Because the thought is that God makes people thirst, man would not thirst for salvation on his own. Again, the question I have for you my friend is the same as before, “Are you thirsty?” That is what is important. There is no need to debate over free will and election and be unwilling to come to a mutual ground. And what would that be? It is this my friends, “Are you thirsty?” Jesus said, if you are, then you can come to Him and receive Him as your Savior.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
