Psalm 119:165 (NKJV) Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.

Here is a repeat from yesterday. What would happen if believers in this country would have more respect and awe for God’s Word than they do for the politicians at every level of government? I think there would be greater unity in the church, the body of Christ. And the church could really have an impact on the worldly point of view in this country. As it is now, liberals are more united than the body of believers. As such, liberals have more influence on public opinion and liberal politicians. That is why liberal politicians are oppressing Christians today. But believers stand divided, because liberalism has crept into the church. And so, the church is ineffective against liberal politicians who oppose the Law of God. Oh, what is needed among believers is a deep respect and awe for God’s Word. The thrill and excitement believers could have in finding hidden treasures, spiritual riches, if they would dive into the Word of God and rejoice in it. When believers are acquainted with the Word of God, then they would love God’s commandments and His Law. They would hate sin as God hates sin. And God’s will would be their will. When believers are acquainted with the Word of God, then they would praise God continually and wholeheartedly for His righteous judgments. When believers are acquainted with the Word of God, they would obey God’s Law and thereby avoid the pitfalls of sin. They would have great peace because they love God’s Law, and nothing would cause them to stumble. In keeping God’s commandments, they demonstrate the fruit of their faith, the evidence of their salvation that is bestowed upon them by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. They obey God’s Word and they love it more and more. When believers love the Word of God, then they will keep His commandments and His Law.  Then they can say, “all my ways are before You” my Lord and my God. My friends, do you love the Word of God?

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
