Romans 5:6-11 (NKJV) 6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Now take note here my friends. Who did Christ die for? “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly” (Romans 5:6 NKJV). Who are the ungodly? Well Paul tells us, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come” (Romans 5:12-14 NKJV). You see my friends, even without the Law, even without the Commandments, all generations from Adam to Moses were already sinners. That is our spiritual condition since birth, we are born with a sin nature, we are born sinners. There is none good, no not one. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 NKJV). And therefore, my friends, everyone is ungodly, that includes you and me. My friends, if you disagree, then John 3:16 does not apply to you. And if John 3:16 does not apply to you, then you are not going to heaven. Why? Because Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” My friends, you can’t work your way to heaven, you can’t buy your way to heaven, you can’t get to heaven by your own merit. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 NKJV). Christ died on the cross at Calvary for you and for me. That is where God revealed His love for us. You see, my friends, God did not save us by His love. God saved us by His grace because the penalty of sin has been paid for in full by the death of His Son Jesus Christ. Because of what Christ did for us, God can hold out His arms and save you today. All who accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior will be saved, and not only that but “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” (Romans 5:9 NKJV). All who are saved by the blood of Christ will not go through the Tribulation. “That day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness” (Zephaniah 1:15 NKJV). Paul tells us that we are going to be saved from wrath. We have been saved by the shed blood of Christ and we will be taken up out of this world during the Rapture when Christ returns for all who belongs to Him by faith. “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:9 NKJV). We are saved from wrath through Christ. We are saved by His death on the cross, and we shall be saved from wrath because He lives. God is reconciled. And now God is saying to you be reconciled with Him by accepting His Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. My friends, we can rejoice because God provided us a Savior. God gave us His Son.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
