1 Peter 1:18-19 (NKJV) 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

My friend, we have been redeemed “with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” God is reconciled. And He is asking you to be reconciled with Him through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ. If you would believe in Christ, then you will be saved. The redemption power of Christ can save you. The substitutional sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ is the redemption work of salvation. Jesus paid it all, and all to Him we owe. Jesus took our sins and paid the penalty for us. Jesus died in our place that we might live if we would believe in Him. The penalty for sin is death. God has never changed His mind about that. However, in these modern times, we hear it said that we are living in a different time with different values, but God has not changed. Sin is still sin. And the penalty for it has not changed. God has said, “Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4 NKJV). And God has not changed His mind. However, God had His plan of salvation even before Creation. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8 NKJV). By grace alone in Christ alone we are redeemed. There is no other way. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12 NKJV). My friend, Jesus is the answer for the world yesterday, today and tomorrow. Salvation is only through the Lord Jesus Christ. God will never change His mind. “If you have some questions in the corners of your mind. And traces of discouragement and peace you cannot find. Reflections of the old past, they seem to face you every day. There’s one thing I know for sure that Jesus is always the answer for you.” Turn to Christ, my friend, and live. Salvation is a free gift from God. All you need to do to receive it, is believe in His Son Jesus Christ. Your relationship with Christ is the most important thing there is. And you are able to fellowship with God not because of who you are, or what you do for Him, or what you can give to Him. Rather, you have a relationship with God because of His grace that He gives to you by the precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ. My friend, this is what God did for you and for me.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
